OLPH, 2012

This series confronts my suburban hometown, a place that exists now as a strange limbo to which I belong to only partially.  Shooting with the view camera demanded a lot of time spent with my old grade school and revisit uncomfortable memories and emotions. The group of photographs compares cold architectural images with smaller moments in an attempt to capture the ominous and specific experience of a highly Catholic institution.
